Background

This is the first project I decided to tackle. This window arch is above my window in my master bedroom. I came up with the idea of covering the window with lithophanes. I decided to put pictures of my family vacation to Jamaica. This took weeks and weeks because of trial and error. I had to figure out the best thickness and what black and white contrast worked best for lithophanes. The light source is the sun. My window faces south, so it gets enough sunlight to work. Now every morning, I just lay down in bed and stare at the window. It brings back fond memories I had with my family on this trip in 2013.
